Speachy Feedback

Nicole over at her awesome new website, Speechpeeps.com is hosting the last Speachy feedback party for this school year.

I love getting feedback on my products.  It really helps me to figure out things that are working and not working and guides my decisions regarding new products.

This month we are picking feedback from a freebie as well as feedback from a paid product.  One of the many reasons why TPT creators make freebies is to get feedback.  (There are lots of other reasons including feeling grateful to followers, wanting to share your knowledge and expertise, giving back to your profession and wanting to acquire new followers.)  I love freebie feedback because I know it takes the extra effort to either review the product once you've downloaded it or to REMEMBER to go back and leave feedback.

The Speech Space took time to leave feedback on my newest flip-flap freebie for Better Hearing and Speech month.  I love that she gave me some specific feedback.  Plus I love finding new blogs so was excited to check out the site.  There are some fun therapy ideas on there.

Shannon S. is the winner for my paid product.  This came at a really great time for me as I'd just gotten some intense criticism related to my choice of themes.  I was so thankful to receive such specific feedback related to my product.  Zombies aren't for everyone.  But a lot of my clients really related to them.

Shannon S and Speech Place please email me your choice of any product (excluding bundles).  Thank you again to everyone who takes the time to leave feedback!  You are amazing!

Head on over to Speechpeeps.com to see all of the other great feedback-or to link up!

Speechy Feedback link up: March edition

Nicole over at AllisonSpeechpeeps.blogspot.com has a monthly linky party where we get the opportunity to choose someone who has left specific and meaningful feedback on our Teacher's Pay Teachers or Teacher's Notebook products.  I read all of my feedback and really appreciate anyone who takes time to leave feedback for me.  Getting great feedback is a little bit like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  It really is even though that is a super corny St. Patrick's Day reference in the middle of this blog post.

This month we are picking two people.  One who left feedback on a paid product AND someone who left feedback on a free product.

When I went to pick someone who had downloaded a freebie, there was only one person who had taken the time in the last two months.  My primary freebie has been downloaded over 7,000 times but only 42 people took the time to leave feedback.

Here's a hint for leaving feedback on product freebies.  First of all, it's free.  If you don't like it or see errors send a message to the creator.  It doesn't seem right or polite to leave negative feedback on something that is free.  TPT guidelines suggest that freebies are less than 10 pages long and often may be a sampler of a larger product.  If you liked someone's freebie, chances are you are going to LOVE their paid product.  Finally, it can be tough to remember to leave feedback on a freebie since it won't show up as a downloaded product.  Here's what I do to make sure I remember to leave feedback.  I look at the product as soon as I download it and think about how I would use it in therapy-or who I would use it with.  I try to leave feedback right away because otherwise I will forget.  As a seller it can get discouraging when you put out a freebie and don't get a lot of feedback on it.

Here are my picks for this month:

Thanks to Chris L. for taking the time to leave feedback on my Slam Dunk Perspective Taking Freebie.

And a big THANK YOU to a fellow TPT seller, Kari R. for her awesome feedback on one of my newer products: Nothing Minimal about these Pairs: S Blends.

Please email me with your choice of any product (not bundle) from my store.  Have you gotten great feedback lately?  Link up with Nicole by clicking on the button below:

Speechy Feedback: October Version

Nicole over at AllisonSpeechpeeps.blogspot.com has a monthly linky party where we give you feedback on your feedback on Teachers Pay Teachers or Teacher's Notebook.

I love getting specific feedback about my products.  Not only does it make MY day but it really helps inform some of my decisions about future products OR about revising my current products.

Right now, I'm going to give a little feedback to Nicole.  One of the things that I have noticed is that after you started doing the monthly feedback party, I started noticing that I was getting more feedback and that feedback was more detailed.  So THANK YOU for having such an awesome idea-AND for letting us all join in!

I picked this feedback because I found it helpful to know that the visuals and homework pages were appreciated.  This is one of those great pieces of feedback that you might read through a few times (if you are apparently as self-absorbed as I now appear to be.

Thank you to CRFrenzel for providing such fantastic feedback.  Please email me with your choice of product from my store.

S.....peechy Monthly Feedback Party (Linky)

Nicole over at AllisonSpeechpeeps.blogspot.com has started a monthly linky party where we give you feedback on your feedback on Teachers Pay Teachers or Teacher's Notebook.

Anyhow, this post is going to be super quick and I've got two guest posts lined up until she leaves so I don't get anymore feedback from her.

Here is some feedback i got from my newest product: Question Reversals Interactive Flashcards.  I really liked getting the feedback that this made teaching a new skill easier as that is what I was hoping to accomplish.
So AAD1961, email me with your choice of product from my TPT store.

You can join the Linky party too by heading over her blog or clicking on the picture below.  Thanks Nicole for setting this up again!
