Laura from All Y'all Need has set up another monthly link up party. These are a great opportunity to meet other bloggers and get to know people. It's really fun. Head on over to her awesome blog to join the learn more about how to participate.
BUYING:
I guess I'm not much of a Spring cleaning person. I'm more of a Fall cleaner. I'm actually not much of a cleaner at all. Really I'm just a when-company-comes-over cleaner. Which means it takes a lot of effort when we do get company. Right now I'm tidying and organizing the house for my mother in law's visit. So I'm taking a lot of trips to Target to buy plastic boxes to organize my things. This weekend, I'm excited to head over to the container store to purchase a few things. Did you know they have a Teacher discount program? Woo-hoo!
TRYING:
I am trying to sell some of my things that are taking up room on Craigslist. So far people are a little enthusiastic (crazy?) Most have wanted to come over and pick it up in the next 2 hours. I'm a little concerned that this is some kind of serial killer code. I tried to meet a few people at a National Night Out party but bad weather kept them away. If I suddenly stop blogging, you'll know it went poorly for me.
SPEECHING:
I just got a bunch of under-twos on my schedule. I love little kids but it does take a little time to readjust from 8-10 year olds to my little friends. I had a few activities that were more appropriate for 3-4 year olds. I am Hanen certified in It Takes Two to Talk and have been using some of that in our sessions. I've also been reading through Laura Mize's Teach Me to Play with You to get some reminders of fun "people" activities since most of my little friends have a really hard time sharing and interacting with object play. This is a fantastic book with SO many play activity suggestions plus ideas for expansion.
How about you-what are you Buying, Trying and Speeching? Head over to All Y'all Need to join the PARTY!

Kelly, I always love reading your entertaining posts! Good luck keeping your purchases at just a few things at The Container Store!

I feel the same way about Craigslist! I've never really searched the site at all. Have you seen the movie Craigslist Joe? It's about a guy who lives off free things on Craigslist for 30 days. I kept waiting for the psychos to appear, but it was actually a really heartwarming movie!
